"This curling iron was unusable due to a defective clamp. While the iron powered on and heated, the clamp did not hold hair all, making it impossible to curl. My hair continuously slipped out no matter how it was positioned. A curling iron with a clamp should be able to secure hair, and this one failed at its most basic function. This appears to be a manufacturing defect. As of yesterday, the product has been returned. I am waiting for a credit."
"I love this flat iron. Works great, doesn’t fry my hair. I didn’t register it and after 6 months it stopped working. I contacted customer service and they walked me through the registration, then packed it up and shipped it to them. They replaced it immediately! So happy!!"
"The iron looks and feels very professional. The color is even cuter in person. The long barrel leaves curls in my hair with longer separation between the waves. This creates the nice wavy, but not too curly, effect everybody’s looking for right now. I love the lock feature so that when I’m curling my hair and accidentally hit the temperature button, the temperature stays where I put it."
"My hairdresser recommended Bio Ionic, and I've never regretted my decision to listen. I've purchased both the 1 inch and 1. 25 inch long barrel irons, and could never go back to anything else. "The Bio Ionic curling iron did not disappoint!! This is the 3rd curling iron I have purchased from Bio Ionic. All 3 different barrel sizes. I have the 1”, 1. 5” and now the 3/4”. All long barrel. Love the teal color. I wish Bio Ionic would have Marcel curling irons. I can work faster and more efficiently on my customers with Marcel Curling an irons."
"I purchased a Bio Ionic curling iron in October 2024 and was initially very happy with the product. Unfortunately, after only about 1. 5 years of normal use, it stopped working completely. What has been even more disappointing is the lack of customer service. I reached out to Bio Ionic support regarding the issue and received no response. I followed up a second time and again heard nothing back. For a premium-priced styling tool, I expected better durability and significantly better customer support. Products can occasionally fail, but customers should at least receive a response when seeking assistance. Based on my experience with both the product longevity and customer service, I cannot recommend this curling iron."

It glides smoothly over your hair, requires fewer passes over the hair, and the vibrating plates add absolutely beautiful shine and hydration to your hair. "The flat iron works really great! However I purchased 1 for my mom 2 years ago for personal use so at most used on 1 head of hair every other day for 1. 5-2Yrs & her on/off button broke. I contacted did contact the for the warranty however it has been over a month & I have received no response. I ordered this new one and paid for it. Disappointed in customer service or lack there of."

"I had the bio ionic 10x for years and loved it so much. It recently began having issues staying on so it was time to buy a new straightener. I immediately bought the bio ionic 10x again because I loved it so much before and the newer version had recent updates that made it better. Or say they said. Immediately after getting it in the mail I began using it and I've been so confused. It makes my hair more poofy, not as silky and shiny as before and it's not straightening or curling my thin hair as easily as before. It breaks my heart that this happened!!"
