"I have previously owned BioIonic travel hair dryers which I love - light weight, quiet and easy to use. Unfortunately, that model is no longer available on the website. I bought the power drive pro as it looked like the smallest option. Unfortunately, it was a lot more complicated to figure out how to even turn it on, and, more importantly, is much heavier and more cumbersome than my older dryers. In fairness, the dryer does work well and quickly."

"It is not cheap, and there are no real guarantees. After barely two uses, the device apparently fell from a nightstand with minimal impact and then started emitting flames. I submitted it under warranty since it was still within the one-year coverage period they offer, but the claim was denied for the following reason: “Damage due to product being dropped. ” To make matters worse, I never received any letter or email notification regarding the denial. I had to log into their website myself to discover it."
"I was going to return this dryer until I decided to give it another shot. Every time I try to hit the power button and adjust the temperature setting, I end up with just cooler temperature and couldn't get it back to hot. Come to find out the right way to use it: 1. Only press the power button once and hold until it turns on. 2. From there I can adjust the heat/cool settings. 3. If I'm on the heat setting, I have to press the power button TWICE to switch over to the cool setting. And that's it! This set of instructions would've been helpful if it actually came in the box. It would've saved me some time and frustration and mulling over whether to keep it or return it. It's a great dryer to use but I'm giving it a 3 for the lack of specific instructions on how to use."
