Warranty claim was submitted and

"Warranty claim was submitted and I was pleased with customer service. The new replacement dryer has spec changes with on/off switch and cool setting. I did not favor the on/off switch move to the back of the handle, but not a huge deal. I like the results of healthier hair and no frizz."

Great smoothing hairdryer

"I have tried SOOO many hairdryers. This one gives me the smooth, frizz free blowout I have been searching for. My hair is gray, and color treated so the texture is frizzy, plus the humidity in Florida doesn’t help. It’s pricey, but has been money well spent."

"I wanted to love this but. . . As a stylist who needs a blowdryer I feel comfortable using on multiple clients a day, this is just NOT it. The grip of this feels very uncomfortable and unnatural, it's almost square like rather than their other blow dryers. Gave me awful carpal tunnel all day long after just one use. I've owned other bio ionic tools before including blow dryers and this by far is the worst design. It works great in the way that it operates and is light-weight but not worth the price for how painful your hand feels by the end of the day. Not practical for stylist use day-to-day."

Wouldn't buy again

"Its not as hot as I thought it would be, does take awhile to dry my hair (and I do not have thick hair). It is also awkward to set up on the counter with the way the cord is built into the handle. . wants to tip over. . I really like the curling irons and flat irons though."

Worth the money

"I wanted a new hairdryer for personal use and since I really like my flatiron I decided to get a hairdryer from BioIonic. My hair is coarse and I struggle with drying it without frizz. The ultralight was an investment, but it works great!"

Leah D. (5/5)

Can't diffuse with this dryer

"I really want to like this blow-dryer, but as a curl specialist I'm incredibly disappointed with it. There's barely a difference between the speed settings, making it almost impossible for me to properly diffuse someone's hair without it causing frizz and flyaways. It does a decent job on blowouts, not as good as my older 10x but is still quicker and more lightweight than most blow-dryers. However not being able to use it on curls has almost entirely defeated the point of this purchase for me."

Buttons in a bad spot.

"I own two of these. An old model and a new one. The old one had sliding buttons to change the blow volume or temp. The new one is a simple push button. My daughter and I hate the push button. We always hit it by accident and it’s not convenient to lock it each time. Go with a different model in my opinion."

JK (3/5)

Drier stopped working after 30 days

"My dryer stopped working after 30 days. To be specific on day 31, so one day past the return window. I put in a warranty request so we could half ago. I’ve gotten no response. So I have no working hairdryer and I’m out hundreds of dollars."

Amber V. (1/5)

Top of the line

"I love all of my bioionic tools! This dryer is so light weight, and that really makes a difference when you’re a busy stylist! The 10 year warranty is a major plus! Very happy with my dryer!"

Logan H. (5/5)

Comparing old one to newer one

"I prefer the lever instead of push button! My hand doesn’t alway get it on lock! So i know i will get used to it! But personally i prefer the lever instead!"
