"I am extremely disappointed with this product. From the very first use, it made my hair smell absolutely terrible. Somehow the smell eventually burned off, but I was using the tool at a reasonable temperature and always used heat protection, so I’m not sure what caused it. The clamp is also incredibly loose and does not hold the hair well at all. Your hair basically just falls out of the clamp instead of staying securely in place. Even my sister-in-law, who has been a professional hairstylist for over 20 years, was visiting and tried using it herself. She also said the tool was absolutely terrible and agreed that the clamp did not work properly. Unfortunately, now the spring has completely broken, making the tool totally useless. I purchased this on 12/5/25, and as of today, 9/7/26, it hasn’t even lasted a full year. For the price, I expected much better quality and durability. I would not recommend this product and am very disappointed that it failed in less than nine months of ownership."
