"I thought this would be better at smoothing out my hair without the leaving ridges. It has to do with the plates and pressure distribution; especially, if I try to curl my hair with it. I've had other straighteners that give me a smoother finish. It's still a good, just not what I expected for the price."

"I have long, course, wavy hair and i was able to cut the time it takes to straighten my hair in half using this straightener. Made my hair look/feel very shiny in comparison to my old hair straightener (different brand). I usually use my straightener to curl my hair as well & it worked great for that too. No complaints here. Very happy with the product & my hair as a result of it."

"For the price, very unimpressed with the tool. I also purchased the 1” long barrel curling iron with this and LOVE it, but the flat iron is disappointing. I have to do 2-3 passes to get the “straight” result and that is using heat protectant and small sections. So disappointed ☹️"

"I had the prior version of this and loooooved it, but with the redesign they made the plates longer. Now it’s impossible to hold it without your hand overlapping the plate section and it basically burning you every time you use it. Unfortunately I can’t find one that makes hair look as good so I’m stuck with daily burns."
"I bought this because I am so in love with my curling iron from Bio Ionic. This was not smooth at all! I was trying to use it to flip under the bottom for a blowout type style, and It kept getting stuck and I would have to pull really hard to get it to go through my hair. Then I would end up with either no curl at all, or a kink. Super disappointed in it."
